I would have to add some code to make sure all entities that are one animal stay together and can be handled at once. Just need to stress out those animals in the screenshot can't do anything by now but standing there. Viewing from most directions you do at least partly see throug the animal the same strange behaviour is shown for head block.

As you can see on the left the feet blocks are visible even they should be hidden by body block. This is one of the better views of the models.

Probably there's just something not completly correct within my disorted cubes patch (was my first try to write code for irrlicht) not quite sure if it's a general problem. Mods can be installed from ContentDB in the 'Browse online content' button in Minetest 5.0+. there are some rendering glitches with entity blocks within the same map node block. Probably having 8 ones would be fair enough for a first try orientation wouldn't be that easy, as you can't do a translation to the animal you would need to have an animal "model" for each orientation.   • Game launches through exe file in "bin" folder on Windows, for Linux I recommend checking Flatpak/Your distro repositories first and for Android version use Play Market or F-Droid (Android port overall is kinda bad, better play on PCs if you can).
